Let me introduce you a new must see place of Vietnam. I was thrilled with a experience I’ve had there and I’m sure you will have at least the same amazing time as me. Life in the old town Hoi An looks like a postcard of a classic Vietnamese riverside town. In 1999, old town of Hoi An was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in an effort to preserve its architecture, a stunning mix of Vietnamese and European style. This significantly helped to increase the annual number of visitors but this beauty of central Vietnam still remains hidden for most of the travelers. So history of Hoi An begins more then 2000 years ago as a primitive port which have been developing with a years into a major one. The town comprises a well – preserved complex of more then 1000 timber frame buildings with brick and wooden walls all colored in warm colors mostly in yellow ones. They are arranged side by side in tight, unbroken rows along narrow pedestrian streets. Beside that Hoi An has one more architecture accomplish, the only bridge that is a temple at same time, dating from 18th century. The structure of […]

Suddenly you have to wear socks, no more flip flops for you, no more sunsets, no more countless cocktails, no more “worrying” where to go next. Well, life can be pretty hard when you get back to reality. Turns out there’s nothing quite like excitement of unknown road, people that you haven’t met before and hidden streets of the new city. Some of you may wander what exactly this guy talks about but post-travel depression can be real. So vacation is over and you are back, feeling strange to see all the bills you have to pay being more expensive then monthly rent of a villa in Bali. After this who won’t be depressed. You are used to getting your feet massaged for the price of a milk, not to mention food was so cheap and suddenly everything is gone and you don’t know when you will be lucky enough to experience it again. The concept of routine just doesn’t work for you these days. Just a thought of a finding a full time job is soul destroying. And no one will convince you different. It’s so hard to focus on anything else except dreaming of coconut water drinks and […]
I’m quite sure that most of you heard for Long Neck tribe, maybe someone of you even visit them as they become one of the main Thailand’s attraction. But I’m not sure how many of you know the real story behind that well played show. So their sad story started when they moved to Thailand, in the end of 80’s and beginning of 90’s as the refugees, running away from the civil war that was taking a big wave in their homeland, country of Myanmar. The Thai government gave them asilium when they first came but then they didn’t let them go back. Now they don’t own anything, without proper identity card they can’t even move anywhere from their villages, they can’t cultivate anything on the land because Thai police can put them in jail. So they are pushed to do the only thing that they are allowed to do – being a tourist attraction. Their exotic tradition inspired the creation of tourism villages in 1985. Some Padaung moved to these artificial hill tribe residencies with work permits to make a living on tourism. But without citizenship, Kayans have limited access to utilities such as electricity, roads, health care and […]
When you work full time job and have family it’s so hard to organize a long vacation. In my case I’m still free with lot of time so short or long trips works for me. If you live in Central Europe there are bunch of places for prefect weekend getaway. Sometimes is just important that you leave your apartment and go to nature; fill your batteries for future work excitements. I live in Zagreb, Croatia at the moment so last week I drove all the way to Slovenia and visited Bled and Bohinj. This was great way to leave the city and enjoy the nature for a few days . It’s only 2 hour ride from the city center of Zagreb. So close that you don’t even notice that you had a trip. Between the borders of Italy and Austria in northwestern Slovenia lies Triglav National Park. Triglav encompasses the eastern end of the Julian Apls and is the only national par in Slovenia. Near the town of Bojinska Bistrica lies Lake Bohinj. The hiking trail runs the entire perimeter of the lake and is an easy walk. All around the lake are the mountain peaks of the Julian Alps. The water […]
If you are tired of Thailand, give a Cambodia go and you wont regret. Traveling gives us so much, most of the times we don’t even notice that we been blessed by someone’s smile, warm look or nice word. We collect those memories deep inside and changing that memories into a new experiences. But the smile of the youngest is what amaze me the most. Few months ago I traveled to Cambodia and these small faces left me speechless . Ever since Angelina Jolie swung trough the ruins in Cambodia as Lara Croft, Tomb Raider, the place has been crawling with tourists. Despite that it is still charming and easy to walk and explore. Try Great Wall on Sunday or any other holiday then you will see the real meaning of “packed with tourists”. The beauty of this country is definitely in their citizens.Their way of living it’s so simple, they work just enough to buy food and some basic things beside that they just enjoy life sharing simple moments with there close family. Cambodia is still pure, not ruined with money from the western people so this is the right time to travel there. […]

There is something magical in those short moments when sky plays colorful game witch changes every minute. Sunrises are even better but I’m lazy ass and like to sleep late (fact). So I have many more sunsets in my pocket then sunrises but hopefully soon will change that. In the morning everything is so peaceful, it’s easier to connect with nature and just enjoy it . So here is my top 5. list of sunsets I’ve collected on the road : 5. Let’s start with my country Croatia where I was born and grew up.
