On the address Pokonji dol 1 you will find the most cute house ever ! Actually is not a regular house it’s a lighthouse ! I don’t know why but ever since I was a child I was impressed by the beauty of lighthouses ! There is something mystical about them ! Don’t you agree? This year I tried to change my mind as I spent lot of time in Croatia ! I push myself to see and feel already seen things in a new and different ways! And now when I look back on the photos of the summer I can only say one thing; “my county is one of a kind “! Truly a beautiful place that will make everyone come back for more ! However I spent one day during the sunset on this island and captured beautiful photos that I wanted to share with all of you ! It would be such a shame to only post few photos on Instagram and the rest keep it for myself ! This small island is located just 5 minuets boat ride from the city of Hvar ! It’s a private property but I was lucky enough with a visit […]

Do you remember that feeling of driving without an instructor for the first time? Or riding a bike, landing a job, your first kiss, getting a good grade? First catching a green wave gives you that profound sensation of achieving something new, but it’s amplified by a million things. As the first surfers blazed their trails; expressing their freedom and exploring coastlines, they were often misunderstood and outcast. Much less appreciate that guys were out hunting for waves instead of working 9-5 jobs, so surfers were branded abnormal and lazy among other things. But In the 90s bleach-blonde surfer bum was the definition of ‘cool’. There were half a dozen surf mags on the shelves and every other t-shirt was covered in Californian surf prints; surf boards, palm trees, campervans. Along with the rest of my generation, my perception of surfing was lead by the media, brands and fashions, rather than the sport or lifestyle itself. I had a romantic notion of surfing in my head, but that’s all it really was, I was in love with the idea of surfing. For years I’ve been dreaming of a remote beach in the middle of the ocean where I can get off the radar and enjoy robinson’s life! My first connection with surfing […]
10 strange things that will make you fall in love with Iceland
Destinations/Island lifeAre the Icelandic people strange ? In fact “strange” for you doesn’t have to be “strange” for me. Am I right ? But we can agree on one thing, Iceland, like any country, has some odd, peculiar things about it and it’s inhabitants. Have you heard about Icelandic believing in elves? When you see the landscape you can’t blame them. There’s just something mystical about Iceland, something that grabs a hold of our collective travel souls and refuse to let it go. I’ve been trying to understand for more then year and half what makes Iceland so special. And still trying. I undiscovered some strange and weird facts about Iceland that I thought I’d share with you. If nothing else, it will only make you to love this fun but slightly odd country even more. For example like I do. There is no surnames or family names in Iceland. Majority of Icelanders people have a last name that is comprised from their father’s (or mother’s) first name with addition of “-dóttir (daughter) or “-son”. This also means they call everyone by their first name. Using titles such as “Mr”, “Mrs, “Miss”or “Dr” is not common either. So, don’t get offended. Even tho […]
In one sentence Bali is everything what you ever wish for and a little bit more. A dreamy vacation that’s not that hard to afford starting from apartment rentals and food prices. Little paradise that will make you come back for more and more… I’m writing this little guide for all of you who may wonder is it all just publicity or it is really worth it. So I’m here for you, to move all your doubts and prepare you for a nice and interesting adventure across this jungle island. There is one more thing that I’ve realized while was leaving Bali behind: “Australians are so lucky nation ” not because of their high standard or the way of living yet these lucky bastards live only 3 hours plane ride from the point of my topic. Weekend getaway on Bali instead of spending one more Saturday in front of the TV putting weights on, who’s up? 1. Find your perfect villa around Ubud You don’t need to go to Scandinavia to practice “hygge” and find your inner peace, Bali have few things to offer. Fresh basket of fruit, morning coffee, sound of wilderness and the stunning view on a […]
The Indonesian island of Bali is a favorite destination for both adventurers and those in need of little relaxation. The waters of Bali’s white beaches are an ideal spot for diving while the jungles with temples call out for adventure. In this post I’ll focus on some hidden and maybe not that known beaches that will blow your mind. 1. Nyang Nyang beach This was definitely a highlight of mine second visit to the island of Gods. Gods for sure put some work in this beauty, there is no other reasonable explanation. We drove all the way close to the Uluwatu Temple and then followed small sign and turned left on the dusty road. After about 5 min ride we got to the parking lot and our adventure started. With a first sight I knew that this won’t be just a regular beach. Miles of untouched nature and crystal clear sand caught my hart and eyes forever. Spending a Christmas Day on a place like this made it even more special. Even a steep 20 min walk back to the parking didn’t ruin my impression. Definitely will be visiting this place again when I return to Bali. 2. Blue lagoon beach […]
